Hello, and Welcome to Mrs. Heller's class, Room 17. I am really excited about working with my new students, and am looking foward to a successful school year! This is my fourth year at Woodland Hills Academy. Woodland Hills Academy is a great school to be at, and a lot of exciting things are happening here. This year we will be exploring Ancient Civilizations in History. Get ready to take a trip to Greece, Egypt, and Rome, just to name a few places! The Language Arts program at this school is rigourous but fun-filled at the same time. Students will be exploring their writing skills through narrative, response to literature, and expository writing. I am also teaching the AVID elective this year. All students are expected to take their position in the classroom seriously, develop good work habits, and take responsibility for their actions.
