8^TH GRADE CULMINATION REQUIREMENTS

2009-2010

·        Grades and Credits

Students must earn a total of 120 credits in 7^th and 8^th grades.

·        Character and Citizenship

Students will be allowed to participate in the culmination ceremony if they receive (on their final grades in June, 2010:

            *No more than 2 U’s in Work Habits

            *No more than 1 U in Cooperation

·        Violation of School Rules

The administration reserves the right to remove from 8^th grade activities ( including culmination), at any time, students who are found in violation of school rules and/or commit a serious offense at school or while participating in any school activity.

·        Attendance

   Students need to have an attendance rate of 95% fro grades 6 through 8 excluding serious illness.
