Course Title:   Developmental Reading.

Course Description:  To promote achievement according to LAUSD standards for the core curriculum. 

• Students must maintain a daily agenda according to requirements of their core teachers; 
• Students receive assistance in areas of weakness;
• Students receive assistance from teacher, adult assistants and peers;
• Students receive assistance in areas of classwork, homework, and study skills;
• Teacher checks for students school supplies;
• At all times, student must be either doing homework/assignments individually and/or in group, or reading silently;
• Students will work on AVID skills.

Classroom Expectations:  Be in class everyday, on time, be prepared, maintain daily agenda for all core classes, follow directions, listen, stay in seat, bring supplies, and no food or drinks.

Marking Policy:  Attendance, cooperation, and work habits.
