WOODLAND HILLS ACADEMY WELCOMES  NEW PRINCIPAL

Greetings and welcome to an exciting new school year at Woodland Hills Academy!

I'd like to introduce myself as your new principal. I'm very excited to be here working with all of our great students, faculty, parents, and community members. Having worked at the Local District 1 office as the Math Coordinator, I'm very familiar with WHA because of the outstanding work that is being done here through the partnership of the school and parents. I come to you with experience as an Assistant Principal at Portola MS and a Dean of Students and Math teacher at North Hollywood High School. I am prepared to put my knowledge and skills toward the continuing improvements that you have been undertaking at this school.

There is no doubt that with the hard work of all the stakeholders, Woodland Hills Academy will continue to be the model of excellence in the Los Angeles Unified School District, and in the nation. I look forward to being a part of the Woodland Hills Academy Family!

Sincerely,

Mr. Ed Hayek, Principal

This Year: 2009/2010:
 1. -Friday, May 28, 2010 is now a day off for students (furlough day for employees). This means that you have a four-day Memorial Day weekend.
2. -Monday, June 21, 2010 is now the last day of school for students. This is a week earlier than before.
